NICEC is delighted to announce that applications are now open for new Fellows to join our community in 2026.
NICEC is owned, led, and run by its Fellows, who meet at least six times a year to collaborate, guide our activities, and share expertise across research, policy, and practice.
What We Are Looking For
For 2026, we are seeking UK-based career development practitioners and scholars across a wide range of settings. We are particularly committed to expanding representation from diverse backgrounds, communities, and regions across the UK, with a strong interest in welcoming new Fellows from Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland.
In particular, we warmly welcome applications from individuals with expertise in:
- The delivery and management of career support within primary, secondary, and further education
- Public careers provision for adults
- Career development provision within employers and apprenticeships
- Planning and organising events, as well as associated digital media
Whether your background is in practice, management, research, consultancy, or policy, we look for colleagues who demonstrate a commitment to continued learning, a willingness to foster constructive cross-domain dialogue, and a desire to actively shape NICEC’s work.
