Supporting Young Adults in to Work

With leadership from Dr Elnaz Kashefpakdel and Dr Fiona Christie this Network Event 'Supporting Young Adults in to Work'  provided an opportunity to learn more about recent reports and commentary that address the scale and nature of the challenges and insights into potential solutions and ways forward.

Perspectives were from universities, research institutes, third sector organisations and employers and included:

• Chris Percy, Honorary Research Fellow, University of Warwick 
• Joy Williams, Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Studies 
• Lisa Russell and Katherine Davey from Manchester Metropolitan University
• Baz Ramaiah, Policy and Research Director at Youth Employment UK 
• Mark Cameron, CEO the 5% Club

The format for this event was short presentations, followed by discussion and a panel.
