Overview of the UN Goals and What They Mean for Policy Making in Career Development

Professor Pete Robertson will offer an overview of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and what they mean for policy making in relation to career development.  The session will build on his chapter addressing this topic in the Oxford Handbook of Career Development. He will explore two areas of policy which are largely neglected in our field:

·         Health and well-being

·         Peace and justice

 
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss one of those two areas in break out rooms, before the seminar concludes with a plenary discussion addressing socially desirable outcomes from careers interventions.
