Last night saw the announcement of the winner of the 2022 Bill Law Award!

During the event, after NICEC International Fellow, Sareena Hopkins, opened the event with a presentation entitled "The Power of Conducting Research on the Frontlines", eight nominated researcher practitioners delivered brief overviews of their research.

It was fascinating to see the breadth of subjects in the three minute thesis presentations and a real joy to to see that Career Development research is flourishing. The NICEC panel, led by Nicki Moore, who judged the submissions for the Award also commented on the high quality and outstanding analysis contained in the entries. All at NICEC would like to congratulate Dr Camille Harron, Erin Bartley, Keren Coney, Nomita Nair, Sophie Hall, Petra Roise, Cordelia Wise and Vaidehi Ranavaya for reaching the final eight.

Our warmest congratulations though go to the eventual winner, Cordelia for her work looking at a cohort of semi-retired workers and the positives and pay-offs involved in this somewhat unexplored and emerging life phase.

Please access a recording of the session below.

The Bill Law Award will return in 2023!
