Marian Morris

Marian Morris joined SQW as a Director in May 2010, and has over 23 years of research and consultancy experience. She was previously employed as a Principal Research Officer at the National Foundation for Educational Research, where she developed and directed portfolios of work in careers education and guidance, widening participation and environmental education.

Clients include government departments and NGOs in England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland; regional and local authority organisations; funding councils (including the ESRC); and charitable foundations (including Gatsby, Nuffield, Esmée Fairbairn).

A regular speaker at national, regional and local conferences, Marian has presented research and expert witness papers at international conferences and seminars (for the EC, BERA, AERA and ECER).  She has been on a number of national advisory bodies, including the Nuffield 14-19 review, the Royal Society Advisory Group for the series of ‘State of the Nation’ Reports and the Skills Task Force.
