Gill Frigerio

Gill Frigerio is a Principal Teaching Fellow in the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Warwick, where she is Co-Director of the MA in Career Development and Coaching Studies. She also leads on qualifications in Coaching which run from introductory certificate to MA level. Prior to moving into teaching, Gill worked in career development practice and management, and most recently was Head of Careers in the Centre for Student Careers and Skills at Warwick.

Gill's teaching interests cover theory and practice in career coaching; coaching and spirituality; researching coaching practice; learning from work experience and its contribution to career development; using labour market information in career coaching; theoretical perspectives on employability; management of career and employability services.

Gill has a scholarly interest in women's carer development and how it intersects with issues of faith and calling.  She has also played a significant role in bringing the concept of Career Adapt-abilities to UK career development practice through the validation of a UK instrument and pilot studies embedding it within higher education practice.

Gill is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the CDI.
