Dr Wendy Hirsh

Dr Wendy Hirsh works independently as a researcher and consultant in employment issues, working mostly for major employers or employer consortia and research institutes. Wendy has a long-standing interest in career development from both individual and organisational perspectives, and in how managers in organisations can support the career development of employees.

Wendy's areas of work include succession management, talent management, leadership development and workforce planning. She has also worked on the interface between higher education and employment, and how universities are engaging with employers. In addition to being a NICEC Fellow, Wendy is an Associate of the Institute for Employment Studies, Roffey Park Institute and the Institute for Government. She is a Visiting Professor at Kingston University.
