Borbely-Pecze Tibor Bors

I’m a Senior Policy Consultant at the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy in Budapest and an Associate Professor at the University of Szeged Faculty of Law and Political Sciences Department of Labour Law and Relations and Associate Professor on Andragogy / Career Guidance at the Budapest-based King Sigismund private College. I have been lecturing European and national employment policies during the last 11 years. More recently since 2011 I also run different courses on career guidance and mentoring and lifelong guidance policy and system design for BA and MA students. Have 16 years of experience in career and employment guidance and the management of European Public Employment Services.

I was the founder of the Hungarian National Lifelong Guidance Policy Council in 2008 and the first leader of the nation-wide Lifelong Guidance System Development Programme in Hungary (2008-2011). I’m also a Member of the Directing Board of the International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy (ICCDPP since 2011) and works as a Strategic Policy Consultant for the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network (ELGPN since 2013).

I have a special interest in career guidance policy development and evaluation at the global level, with a special focus on Europe and the so-called transition countries (former Communist countries). I’m also interested in national and international lifelong guidance policy design and implementation as well as policy evaluation and research.
